Secure patient registration

Register as a new patient

New patients can create an account on my secure patient portal to complete registration and share medical details — your history, medications, test results and insurance information — safely ahead of the appointment. It saves time in clinic and means nothing clinical needs to travel by email.

Registration is separate from booking: appointment times are still arranged through the hospital above. The portal is provided by Carebit, an independent secure patient-records provider.

What to expect at your appointment

  • Time to talk. An initial consultation lasts around 30 minutes, a follow-up around 20 — enough time to go through your history properly and examine you.
  • What to bring. Any GP referral letter, a list of your current medications, and copies of recent test results or scans if you have them. Insurance patients should bring their membership number and pre-authorisation code.
  • Tests, if needed. Lung function tests, blood tests, imaging or a sleep study may be arranged at the hospital — usually the same day or shortly afterwards.
  • A clear plan. You'll leave knowing what I think is going on and what happens next, and a summary letter is sent to you and, with your consent, to your GP.

Fees and cancellation terms are set out on the fees page.
